XWUZ Bubble Trouble (free & extended to full screen) is now available on the new Chrome Web Store - get it get it get it now.
(For iPhone users, it’s still available in the App Store, search for Bubble Trouble)
I’m pleased to announce that after a long wait, Bubble Trouble FREE edition has arrived to the App Store. It’s not high resolution, the colours are a bit paler, but: it’s free.
Or, if you have an iPhone 4 (with the gorgeous high-res screen), the full fat Bubble Trouble is highly recommended.
A short demo video for our game Bubble Trouble. If you want to try the game, you should download it from the App Store, here.
Bubble Trouble 1.4 is out and available on the iTunes App Store. We‘ve worked a lot on it - I think this release is the biggest improvement so far. Sound effects, a nicer looking interface, a cool email-your-score-to-your-friend button and much more. If you already have it, make sure you update it! If you don’t have it yet, please note that at the moment I’m suffering from the deadly disease of common cold and the medication is very expensive.
Bubble Trouble on the G1 Phone
It’s very important here to master all the handsets in the world, that’s why I was glad to see the new Google G1 phone arriving to the office.
XWUZ Bubble Trouble - now JSLint trouble free!
I have updated my good old iPhone game Bubble Trouble - the aim was to use as many new disciplines I’ve learnt in the past few weeks. So the game is now:
- Valid XHTML
- Valid CSS 2.1 (except for 3 opacity properties)
- Passes JSLint (the good parts)
- Lacks
eval()with string arguments - Uses only one global variable
- Uses a fancier looking bump algorithm
It took about 2 days to refactor the script. It should work almost exactly the same as the old version. I think it’s a bit faster, and I know it’s much safer and reliable than the old Bubble Trouble.

XWUZ Entertainment - JS based stuff for the iPhone masses :)
With a few friends, I’ve started a new project called XWUZ Entertainment. Under this name, we’re going to roll out a few JavaScript based games optimized for the Mighty Phone. The first game has already arrived, it’s a simple bubble popping game called Bubble Trouble. We’ve learned a lot during the process, and we’re planning to learn a lot more - so more games are about to come out. Bubble Trouble works on Safari and Firefox… and of course on iPhones.
PS: if you like the game and want to help us making better ones, send us an iPhone to Hungary - that would help a lot :).
